'Captured Motion' Plate

175.00

This plate features images taken in the 1870s by Eadweard Muybridge. They were the precursors to the first motion pictures.

Just as Muybridge's photos froze the horse at the different moments of it's stride, this plate captured the movement of the glaze as gravity pulled it away from the smaller waxed circle.

Dimensions: 12" x 1.5"
